I've spend most of my life studying movement. I started studying ballet at the age of 7, eventually getting into modern dance. After years of dance training and performing, In 1999 I started the BFA Dance program at New World School of the Arts. It was there, during my freshman year, that I was introduced to yoga by a dance teacher. Upon graduation I dove into my yoga practice, and soon after completed the 200RYT yoga teacher certification program at Miami Yogashala.
I first became interested in massage while in college. Besides a demanding dance curriculum we extensively studied the body in classes like anatomy for dance, kinesiology and labanotation movement analysis. While attending the yoga teacher training I got the chance to attend a thai massage workshop. It was then that I finally made up my mind, and that's how I ended up in Educating Hands School of Massage.
The way our bodies move and function fascinates me, and massage therapy allows me not only to understand it more, but also to directly work with it.
I want to help people, heal them, provide them with an incredible sense of pleasure and relief with my touch.
